Certificate Program in Automotive Technology

C.C.B. School of Atlanta offers an Automotive Technology Certificate Program.  This program of study prepares graduates with the foundational knowledge to excel in automotive repair and services.  Designed as a terminal program, the Automotive Technology Certificate Program develops the skills and knowledge necessary to directly enter into entry level automotive repair and service jobs.

The automotive technology courses designed to prepare graduates for entry level maintenance-related jobs and to prepare students for A series (Automobile & Light Truck) Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification tests, with the complete program covering all the tests (8 total) required to take the exam for designation as a Master Automobile Technician.  The program will include both lecture hours and lab hours for designated automotive technology courses, with lab hours being held in a separate facility designed for automotive repair and service.

Courses will familiarize the student with essential skills in automotive service and repair, including specific instruction in various components of an automobile such as engine repair, electronic systems, and transmissions.

The Certificate in Automotive Technologies program consists of ten (10) courses that consist of a lecture and lab portion.

Please note: This program is not available for international students (F-1) at this moment.  Please refer to the C.C.B. IEP and TOEFL program if you are looking to apply as an F-1 student.
